A 2.08-carat Emerald (step) cut Zultanite specimen with Moderate — visible three-illuminant range with champagne-gold mid-phase. Cut from rough mined in the İlbir Mountains, Türkiye, in 2021 by a master cutter specializing in cleavage-aware lapidary on diaspore. Approximate dimensions 8.5 × 6.5 × 4.2 mm.

Provenance

This specimen was cut from rough mined in the İlbir Mountains of southwestern Türkiye — the only currently producing locality for gem-quality color-change diaspore. The rough was cut by a master cutter trained to orient the table facet to minimize cleavage exposure on the {010} plane.
