A 7.25-carat oval-faceted Zultanite specimen showing strong sage-green daylight to raspberry-pink candlelight color change. Cut from rough mined in the İlbir Mountains, Türkiye, in 2018 by a master cutter specializing in cleavage-aware lapidary. Approximately 12 × 10 × 6 mm.
Provenance
This specimen was cut from rough mined in the İlbir Mountains of southwestern Türkiye — the only currently producing locality for gem-quality color-change diaspore. The rough was cut by a master cutter trained to orient the table facet to minimize cleavage exposure on the {010} plane.
Optical performance
Strong — sage-green daylight to raspberry-pink candlelight, full shift with minimal gold transition phase.
